FOR his lively new series, Ross (pictured) travels the country to explore the truth behind myths and fairytales. He’s in Whitby on the North Yorkshire coast in part one, probing the town’s links to Dracula, before learning about the cavedwelling Hobs — mythical little creatures purported to have healing powers. Then, Jonathan heads inland to Knaresborough to visit the mysterious Mother Shipton’s Cave — the birthplace, as legend has it, of a renowned 16th-century soothsayer.
