NONSENSE LAW HURTS IRISH
IRELAND were denied a try at Murrayfield yesterday after Scotland took a quick lineout deep in their own 22, the visitors stole it and drove over. Referee Luke Pearce ruled the try could not stand because the ball thrown in was not the one that had been kicked out. It was a correct application of the law, but it is a nonsense. If the throw is in the right place, play on.
