Zane’s artist ex in cheeky snap with model beau

WHEN TV presenter Alex Zane confirmed in January that his marriage had hit the rocks, scarcely five months after his London wedding celebrations, I disclosed that his wife, trendy artist Nettie Wakefield, was being comforted by model Owen McGinnity.

Now, Nettie, 35, who was previously squired by Poldark heartthrob Aidan Turner and was linked to Twilight star Robert Pattinson, has apparently confirmed that she and McGinnity are a couple.

She’s posed for a series of photographs shared by McGinnity, including this one (left) with her tongue stuck out.

Nettie, whose artworks hang in the Groucho Club, exchanged vows with Zane during the pandemic, but they were forced to limit the number of wedding guests because of Covid restrictions, so had the big party last August.

Zane, 44 — whose previous exes include The Voice presenter Emma Willis — made his name on Popworld with Alexa Chung and the clip show Rude Tube.
