Need for compassion

GARY LINEKER has rightly highlighted the huge need for empathy from the Government for families, unaccompanied children and those fleeing persecution who are coming here via the Channel.

As a compassionate nation, we should open our arms and hearts to these vulnerable people. However, what he is ignoring is that, according to official figures, 42 per cent of the migrants are young men from Albania, which is a peaceful, but poor, country.
