We need tax cuts

i’M sUre that the Chancellor’s relaxation of the rules on pension contributions will make highly paid employees consider extending their working careers.

But i’m not sure it would influence anyone to apply for re-employment in the retail or hospitality sectors. They certainly wouldn’t have the income to afford to contribute thousands of pounds to a pension.

if Jeremy hunt wants to encourage Joe Bloggs in his 50s back to work, he needs to reduce direct taxation.
