EVERY Cheltenham Festival throws up amazing stories and we will get more to cherish today. The tears had barely dried from Honeysuckl­e’s incredible win on the opening afternoon before we had more memories etched into our minds yesterday. Now it’s time for a day that will be dominated by the race with my name on it — the Paddy Power Stayers’ Hurdle (3.30). Blazing Khal (11-4) and Teahupoo (4-1) are leading the betting for a race that is always one of the highlights of the Festival. And those who enjoyed Flooring Porter’s two successes in this race will be all over the Gavin Cromwell-trained flier (below) and fancying his chances again at 5-1. Like many of us, the famously ice-cool Ruby Walsh (above) broke down trying to comment on Honeysuckl­e’s win on Tuesday and he might just get watery-eyed again if his tip today comes off.
