TEAHUPOO was unsuccessf­ully contesting the two-mile Champion Hurdle at this meeting last year but he has since stepped up to this three-mile distance and been very impressive in the Galmoy Hurdle at Gowran Park.

I think that form was sound — he beat a rival who has been running well — and with proven stamina now in his armoury he looks the complete package.

With more rain forecast, this will turn out to be a massive test of staying power which is why I can see popular 2019 winner Paisley Park hitting the frame.
