Contrast in care

-

Since covid, it’s almost impossible to see my GP face to face. i need a review of my medication, which is not an urgent issue, but i am surprised that the earliest appointment i can get is the middle of May.

if an appointment is needed for a medical reason, but the receptionist deems it unimportant, patients are given a phone consultation in five or six weeks. absolutely appalling!

i have just returned from a holiday in australia during which i had to go to a local medical centre. i was given a face-to-face appointment for the following morning. i needed hospital treatment and this was arranged for two days later. what wonderful care.
