CHESSUM IN BATTLE TO BE FIT FOR WORLD CUP
ENGLAND lock Ollie Chessum faces a race to recover for the World Cup in September after dislocating his ankle. Chessum suffered the injury in training on Tuesday and will have surgery. Steve Borthwick revealed he will be sidelined for five to six months. Head coach Borthwick said: ‘The determination he has to be back in an England shirt is quite immense.
‘He will have the opportunity to be fit and back on the field for the Rugby World Cup.’
