Two days on crest of wave
AN Australian surfer has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest surf, catching at least 700 waves during more than 40 hours in the water.
Hundreds of supporters packed Cronulla Beach in Sydney as ex-professional surfer Blake Johnson, 40, emerged from the surf around 7am yesterday after his epic session.
He broke the previous record of 455 waves in 30 hours to raise almost £185,000 for mental health charities.
