TAKE A PEEK AT WISLEY’S OLD LAB
ON MONDAY, the newly refurbished Old Laboratory at RHS Wisley (right) opens its doors to the public. This used to be where RHS horticulturists studied plants, but they have now moved to RHS Hilltop.
The Old Laboratory, a chocolate-box Grade II-listed building, is now a visitor’s centre packed with exhibits, from a mock-up 1921 lecture theatre to a wartime office featuring ‘Dig for Victory’ material. Booking is necessary ( rhs.org.uk/wisleylaboratory).
