FRUIT BUSHES NEED A BOOST

Finish winter pruning of gooseberries, blueberries and blackcurrants before their leaves grow back, as next month will be too late. Use secateurs to remove dead or diseased branches, and any that are crossing, as they can weaken the plant. Cut last year’s autumn flowering raspberries down to the ground, too.
