TWO months ago, we heard from Paul Martin, 71, who now lives in Ramsgate, Kent; he wanted to catch up with the mates who were also on a school trip to Italy in 1966. ‘The photograph shows us standing on a famous bridge in Florence. A few of the names I can remember are Ron Card, brothers Paul and Graham Sullivan, Geoff Barber, , Fred Hines and Sean Lyons. ‘We were pupils at Chase Cross s School in Romford, Essex.’ Well, we’ve already reunited Paul Martin with Paul Sullivan (now living in Spain), who was sent the column by a relative and was delighted to be reconnecte­d.
