PC ‘who could have stopped Couzens’ is online porn star
THE woman PC accused of failing to catch killer officer Wayne Couzens has become an aspiring porn star.
Samantha Lee faces a disciplinary hearing next week for allegedly missing chances to arrest the Scotland Yard officer when he was reported for flashing at two women.
He exposed himself at a McDonald’s in Kent – just days before he abducted, raped and killed marketing executive Sarah Everard.
But when the police watchdog launched a probe into the force’s failures, Ms Lee left the Met to set up an OnlyFans pornography account titled ‘Officer Naughty’, charging subscribers £100 a year for explicit images of herself.
The 29-year-old will face a police disciplinary hearing accused of failing to undertake the correct investigative inquiries into allegations of indecent exposure.
She is also accused of giving a misleading account of her actions, with the alleged breach of duties amounting to gross misconduct.
McDonald’s staff reported the incidents on February 28, 2021, but Miss Lee did not attend until March 3 – the very day Ms Everard, 33, was abducted in south London. One woman flashed at by Couzens has said ‘we could have saved Sarah’ if police had done their jobs.
During his sentencing, she wept as she told how she recognised his face in newspaper articles following his arrest. ‘This indecent exposure incident was reported on the Sunday,’ she said. ‘I had no one contact me or ask for a statement. It was only after Sarah’s murder that I became involved. If he had been held accountable when we had reported the crime, we could have saved Sarah.’
Police were given Couzens’ description, car registration and bank card details but officers failed to investigate the attacks, interview victims or identify him as one of their officers until he had been arrested for the murder. During Couzens’ sentencing, during which he was handed a rare whole-life tariff, Mrs Justice May criticised the force’s failure.
She said: ‘The fact that no police came to find him or his black car, to question him about these incidents, can only have served to confirm and strengthen in the defendant’s mind a dangerous belief in his invincibility...’
Despite leaving the force under a cloud, Miss Lee has continued to pose for photographs in her police uniform, including an image of her in an unbuttoned shirt seen on Instagram just two days ago.
On Only Fans, the self- styled ‘Good Girl Gone Bad’ can be seen in her police hat, with crime scene tape covering her breasts.
On the day Couzens was reported for flashing in February 2021, Miss Lee was busy posing for snaps on Instagram, posting an image of herself in a low- cut top revealing her cleavage.
Subsequent selfies were shared online the day after 50-year- old Couzens was arrested for Miss Everard’s murder.
