Back on course with turmeric

John’s enjoying golf and his daily walks again

-

PLAYING golf is great exercise and can also offer a social network, which is good for our wellbeing. It provides an enjoyable way to reach the recommended level of physical activity needed to stay healthy. John Britton, 64, from Stockton, Co. Durham, is a retired civil servant and regular golfer.

‘I like to play golf two to three times a week, but I started to feel less comfortable than I used to, which is to be expected at 64. I found it more difficult to put on my golf shoes and fasten my laces while standing up.’

‘I tried other kinds of turmeric, such as sprinkling powders in fruit juices but they did nothing for me ‘I read an advertisement for Turmeric+, so I thought I’d give it a try — I liked the feedback on the website and the fact that the company responded honestly and openly that supplements can work better for some people than others.’

‘I was pleasantly surprised to find that I soon noticed a remarkable difference in my joints. Previously, after enjoying a post-golf sit down, I was hesitant before standing as I knew I would hobble off. ‘I’m now able to get up much more comfortably. ‘Similarly, when stretching, I never knew whether my hips would ‘give me a nip’.

‘I’m now able to stretch without discomfort and my stiffness is much reduced.’ Curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, is difficult for the body to absorb. Some turmeric products offer high levels of curcumin but unless this is easily absorbed by the body, the higher amounts make little difference.

The need for easy absorption is what led the scientists at FutureYou Cambridge to create Turmeric+ using the patented ‘Curcuma Phospholipid Complex’ formulation.

It’s 30 times more absorbable than standard turmeric and also contains vitamins C and D which contribute to normal function of cartilage and normal muscle function.

‘It certainly worked for me, I’m enjoying my golf and my daily walks with my wife again.’
