MICKY JETS IN TO COMPLETE £43m TOTTENHAM MOVE

- By SIMON JONES

■ WOLFSBURG defender Micky van de Ven is due to fly into London this weekend for a medical ahead of his £43million move to TOTTENHAM.

Spurs have agreed to pay £34m with a further £9m in add-ons for the 22-year-old, who will sign a five-year contract. They have also agreed a £13m deal with Rosario Central to sign striker Alejo Veliz, 19.

■ BRENTFORD may be willing to compromise on their £40m asking price for David Raya as ARSENAL look to reach an agreement. Their opening £23m offer including add-ons will be rejected but a bid of around £30m could be enough.

■ NOTTINGHAM FOREST are pressing to sign Matt Turner from Arsenal after making an offer. Forest also want to re-sign Dean Henderson on loan from MANCHESTER UNITED once he is fully fit.

■ UNITED defender Eric Bailly has offers from two Saudi Arabian clubs. United need to sell players before they can bid for Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat. WEST HAM retain an interest in Harry Maguire. Inter Milan and Atalanta have increased their bids for Hammers striker Gianluca Scamacca to £26m but Atalanta’s offer is more generously structured.

■ CRYSTAL PALACE have opened talks over an initial loan deal for Bayer Leverkusen defender Odilon Kossounou, 22. Palace are trying to negotiate a loan with obligation to buy for around £24m.

■ SHEFFIELD UNITED have asked about taking Bayern Munich attacking midfielder Malik Tillman on loan.

■ MONTPELLIER striker Elye Wahi, who is a target for CHELSEA, has a rival offer from Eintracht Frankfurt.

■ NEWCASTLE right back Harrison Ashby has joined Swansea on a season-long loan.

■ WREXHAM have signed midfielder James McClean, 34, from Wigan Athletic.
