Sophie Turner’s custody deal lets her daughters go on Jonas Brothers tour

- From Daniel Bates in New York

SOPHIE Turner and Joe Jonas have agreed a custody sharing arrangement and expect their split to be resolved ‘amicably’, court filings have revealed.

The Game Of Thrones actress, 27, and the pop singer, 34, will each get two weeks with their daughters Willa, three, and Delphine, one, until January, when a more permanent resolution will be found.

The children will also be allowed to travel to anywhere in the US and the UK, meaning that Turner can bring the girls to England which she claims will be their ‘forever home’.

It also means Jonas will get to take the girls on tour with his pop group, The Jonas Brothers, as he performs in Texas, San Diego and California. Turner will take them to the UK at Christmas, which she will spend with her family.

The agreement comes after four days of intense mediation in New York. The court filing from Turner’s lawyer Stephen Cullen said the was mediation ‘ongoing and productive’ and said the custody sharing plan comes ‘in anticipation of an amicable resolution of all issues’.

Mr Cullen appears to have made good on his promise to ‘bring down the mercury’ made during a court hearing in New York last week.

Jonas filed for divorce in Miami on September 1, with sources close to him claiming that Turner had been out partying too much, leaving him alone to look after their daughters. Turner fired back, accusing Jonas of refusing to hand over the girls’ passports so they could return to England with her.

She cited an international child abduction law as grounds for the children being with her.

The split has sparked court proceedings in the UK, Miami and in New York, where the child custody case is being handled.

Under a previous interim consent order, the girls had to stay in New York.

Legal filings have detailed how the couple’s three-year marriage broke up in August after Jonas reportedly saw Turner insulting him on their home security camera. He filed for divorce two weeks later claiming their relationship was ‘irretrievably broken’.

In court papers, Turner claimed the couple had bought a £ 7 million home near Oxford which was intended to be their ‘forever home’.
