HAPPY FAMILY Poch aiming to please everyone at Tottenham with a triple target

-

While Tottenham fans would love an FA Cup run and chairman Daniel Levy another season in the Champions League, everyone is after a fairytale title win that would bring the curtain down in style on their time at White Hart Lane.

Aware of the demands, Poch said he will try to please all of the people, all of the time.

“I will try to be clever in the way we compete,” said the Argentinian.

“It’s true that it’s difficult to win all three competitions – the Europa League, Premier League and FA Cup.

“But it’s also true that we will have to manage the competitions. We are facing seven games in 27 days which gives us less than four days to recover for each game. That’s a very difficult situation.

“Our players will then start to be involved with their national teams.”

Pochettino rested several players against Wycombe in the FA Cup on Saturday and almost paid the ultimate price.

“Games like Wycombe are a good opportunity to give a chance to players who have not played much,” he explained. “But I can understand what is wanted by our fans and by my chairman. We will try to make them all happy all in the next few months and try to win some competitions.

“We are now in a good position in the FA Cup, the Europa League and the Premier League. We will try to manage the three competitions and be successful in one, if not all, of them.”

Spurs, including the returning Harry Kane (left), will travel to the Stadium Of Light tonight hunting the three points that will enable them to take advantage if leaders Chelsea are beaten by Liverpool.

“I don’t care about that game,” said Poch (right). “The most important thing is to get the three points.”
