SNARLING protesters who took part in the far-right rally that sparked a deadly riot are being named as part of a campaign to out the haters.

It comes as an anti-fascist demonstrator was praised for sacrificing his own safety while pushing his bride-to-be out of the way of the speeding car that killed their friend Heather Heyer.

The name-and-shame campaign has been launched to identify people on photos of the Unite the Right rally, described as “the largest hate-gathering of its kind in decades in the US”.

The online appeal has led to at least one person being sacked from their job.

A man, whose Twitter account is called Yes, You’re Racist, tweeted photos of people waving torches at the rally and said: “If you recognise any of the Nazi machine in Charlottesville, send me their names/profiles and I’ll make them famous. #Goodnightaltright.”

The first to be named was Cole White, who has since been fired from the Top Dog restaurant in Berkeley, California, after chiefs were flooded with complaints about his involvement at the demo.

A spokesman for the company said: “For now, we feel it is imperative to let you know that Cole White is no longer employed by Top Dog, LLC.”

Others named include Peter Cvjetanovic, a 20-year-old student pictured holding a flaming torch and shouting during the demo which attracted thousands from neo-nazi groups, the Ku Klux Klan and other far-right organisations.

He later said: “I’m not the angry racist they see in that photo…

“As a white nationalist, I care for all people. We all deserve a future for our children and for our culture.”

Alleged white supremacist James Alex Fields is accused of murdering Heather at the demo in Charlottesville, Virginia.

She was mown down and killed while marching in a street to protest against the rally alongside her friends Marcus Martin and his fiancee Marissa Blair. Marcus, 26, has been hailed a hero for pushing Marissa, 27, to safety.

Marcus was then struck by the car and suffered a broken leg.

In a wheelchair and with his left leg in a cast, he welled up when he laid flowers at the spot where Heather, 32, died.

Recalling the attack, Marissa said: “We were saying, ‘Whose streets? Our streets!’ and just having a good time.

“We were right at the intersection, deciding to go right or left. We went left. We hear a commotion from the top of the

DONALD Trump has finally denounced the extremists who sparked the sickening Charlottesville clashes.

The President spoke out yesterday, two days after the horrific events, following searing criticism over his original comment that “many sides” were to blame for the ugly scenes.

Reading from a teleprompter in the White House, Mr Trump said: “We condemn in the strongest possible terms this egregious display of hatred,
