Simple device but it’s pricey

-

I’ve often wondered if my snoring is due to an accident I had when I was a teenager. I broke my cheekbone and jaw and damaged my sinuses. I still have sinus issues today.

My head hits the pillow and I’m gone – I don’t wake myself snoring. Rachel puts up with it so I didn’t realise quite how bad it was until I did a charity coastto-coast walk recently and had to share a tent with some friends. They all put in a complaint!

I’ve lost getting on for 3st recently which I thought might help, but it didn’t. And I have tried nasal strips and sprays in the past, which have had some success but nothing dramatic. The spray just made me feel drowsy the next day. I wanted to try something different. The ring is a very simple device. You just pop it on your little finger an hour before bed and wear it through the night aligning the two little ridges on it with the part of your finger as instructed. It’s perfectly comfortable though I did wake up one night with terrible pins and needles so maybe I lay on it in a peculiar way?

Rachel thinks my snoring was a bit better which is great, except I was more congested during the day than I normally am – not so wonderful. I suppose it would be useful if you were going away with people who might be really disturbed by your snoring.

It’s quite pricey. I don’t think

I’ll use it all the time.
