Gray calls for a Reds blackout..

CLIFTONVIL­LE boss Barry Gray has told his players to blank past stats as the Reds bid to build on Saturday’s opening day rout of Ards.

The Solitude men have won on just one of their last seven league visits to the Coleraine Showground­s and secured just three wins in their last 13 meetings home and away.

Ahead of tonight’s trip to face the Bannsiders, who beat Dungannon 3-1 on Saturday, Gray said: “Our only focus is on making this season the best we possibly can.

“People have been talking about bad runs, poor records and whatever else, but the fact of the matter is they’re nothing to do with me. Those aren’t my stats.

“We’re not the finished product and we have a long way to go, but let’s not drag ourselves down by thinking too much about things that have been and gone.”

Coleraine are without banned defender Steven Douglas, who was sent off in the weekend win at Dungannon.
