Elsewhere, Shona admits to David she’s paying off Clayton’s dad, Dane. Max and Lily are put in danger by Dane, who has them in his car. With all her skeletons out the closet, can her relationship with David survive?

Social services busted in on Stacey’s dinner party last week, after Carmel called them in concern. Now, of course, Carmel feels terrible and allows Stacey to spend time with Lily and Arthur. She apologises to Stacey for everything but will she admit to the call?
Woody clocks that all is not well with Linda, seeing she’s in pain. She’s got the same symptoms that she had before she was diagnosed with cancer.
ITV, 7pm When Friday’s episode started, Emma was teetering on the edge of a viaduct before finally plummeting to her death dressed all in white like an angel. “Amen,” she said, in a final prayer, and viewers were at last treated to her comeuppance after months of torture. Tonight the villagers are in shock over the deaths of both Emma and son Finn.
