WELCOME TO FRIGHT CLUB
CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN believes Ireland could suffer stage fright in tomorrow’s all-or-nothing World Cup shootout.
The Tottenham star (right) is adamant Denmark will score at Aviva Stadium meaning shot-shy Ireland will need at least two goals.
Eriksen said: “They will be scared of us scoring because that would be such a big blow for them.
“I feel we will get chances in
Dublin, I’m confident about that. We can take the pressure.”
Ireland defender Shane Duffy stressed the need for patience in this ‘must-win’ game.
He said: “Denmark have players who can cut you open so we’ve got to take it easy and see what happens.”
