Nurses need payday loans

ONE in 20 nurses has been forced to take out a payday loan to cover their living costs, a poll suggests.

One in four has had to borrow cash, says The Royal College of Nursing survey. And a quarter have taken a second job.

Janet Davis, of the RCN, said: “The health service is losing valuable, highly trained staff because they can’t pay their bills.”
