Red river hog Mali has had twins, and elsewhere there are four new arrivals – spiky Madagascan tenrecs. With so little known about them, the keepers try everything they can to help them breed.

Jewel wasp Ripley needs the perfect cockroach to help give birth to her offspring. She plans to lay her egg on him and paralyse him with venom, turning him into a zombie.

And Eastern black rhino Kitani is also about to give birth. But she has lost three previous calves, and keepers are worried.
