Marler to make Test comeback

JOE MARLER has been rushed straight back by England following his ban for striking.

The Harlequins prop will vie with Saracens’ Mako Vunipola for loose-head selection against Australia, taking Ellis Genge’s place.

But Vunipola’s clubmate George Kruis has been ditched altogether.

Kruis started against Argentina but was subbed off inside the hour. He now finds himself out of the 25-man squad.

The burly second row suffered the same fate on the Lions tour, selected for the series opener against New Zealand before being dropped for the next two Tests.
