FAINTING SCARE FOR AGUERO

SERGIO AGUERO fainted at half-time and was taken to hospital as Argentina lost 4-2 to Nigeria in Russia.

The Manchester City striker scored after 36 minutes (below) to put Argentina 2-0 ahead, but goals from Leicester’s Kelechi Iheanacho, Brian Idowu and two from Alex Iwobi of Arsenal turned the friendly around. Agu Aguero was rushed to hos hospital in Krasnodar fo for tests after passing out in the dressing-room, although the cause was not known. A statement from the Argentinian Football Federation said: “He fainted and was therefore transferred to carry out routine checks as a precaution.” City officials say they are expecting Aguero to report back to the club today.
