Oct 30: Emerges they are dating. Nov 8: Harry attacks media’s “harassment” of Meghan.

Nov 11: She is reportedly staying at Kensington Palace.

Dec 13: Pair spotted in London buying a Christmas tree.

Dec 29: Meghan back in London for New Year’s Eve with Harry. Jan 6, 2017: It emerges Harry has taken her to Norway.

Jan 10: Meghan reportedly meets Duchess of Cambridge and Princess Charlotte for first time. Feb 2: It is claimed she has “virtually moved in” with Harry. March 4: Pair attend wedding of one of Harry’s friends in Jamaica. March 27: Couple are reported to be setting up home in a larger Kensington Palace apartment. April 13: Harry arrives in Toronto to spend Easter with Meghan. May 7: Pair photographed kissing in public for the first time.

May 20: She joins Harry at Pippa Middleton’s wedding reception. July 8: Meghan is “spotted trying on wedding dresses”.

August: Pair holiday in Botswana for Meghan’s 36th birthday.

Sept 5: She speaks about Harry for first time, in US Vanity Fair. Sept 25: First official public appearance together, at Invictus. Oct 19: It emerges Harry has taken her to meet Queen, whose permission they need to marry. Oct 22: Prince’s aides have reportedly been told to start planning for a royal wedding. Nov 27: Clarence House announces the engagement.
