Grandad is being himself but I do cringe sometimes, I don’t want him to get too weird...

His bust-up with Stanley was a real Rumble in the Jungle. Hopefully first of many. Tried to put girls off succeeding in trial, like he is putting off getting back in the ring. Still done nothing wrong and on course to be jungle queen. Tried hard in trial but losing out on feast is no laughing matter. Top of the league (unlike Chelsea) thanks to heroic work in the trial. Stanley to Toff:

“This is the basis of a perfect relationship, isn’t it?” Another successful day for the soap actor. He’s now becoming a contender. Not impressed with Kezia’s comments on her washing skills. Boring. Wimped out of live trial. Needs to put some labour in or she will be one of the first out. Gave up in one of the trials, leaving Shappi to do the work. Worth a red card. A quiet day in the jungle by her standards. In need of a bit more Fiz. ECCENTRIC Stanley Johnson is winning fans by just “being himself” in the jungle insists his grandson.

Oliver Dawnay was as stunned as anyone to see his grandad, who is Boris Johnson’s father, joining the line-up in I’m a Celebrity and hopes the 77-year-old “won’t get too weird.” But Oliver, son of writer Rachel Johnson, is impressed by how Stanley is shaping up so far.

He confided: “He’s just being himself completely and it’s really funny to watch. People often play a game on reality TV to get votes but it’s just like watching your granddad with a random group of people.

“It’s not really the kind of people he’d normally be with – he’s usually just knocking around with his family apart from the odd book launch or two. But for me it’s funny because it’s like he’s not really with celebrities, just a group of people. “He seems to get on well with them. But sometimes I do have a little cringe. I don’t
