INGS GETS LONDON YEARNING
WEST HAM and Crystal Palace are battling to sign Liverpool striker Danny Ings.
The London relegation rivals fancy the 25-year-old forward on loan, while Brighton and Stoke are also monitoring developments.
David Moyes is keen to shake up his Irons strike force, while
Palace boss Roy Hodgson needs more depth up front. Hodgson could send Timothy Fosu-mensah back to Manchester United to pave the way for Ings (left).
With Liverpool’s front line on fire, Ings knows regular first-team action lies away from Anfield. He has played just 17 minutes so far this season as a substitute at Leicester in the League Cup. ANDREI KANCHELSKIS has savaged Jose Mourinho’s style, claiming Manchester City have replaced Manchester United as the great entertainers.
Kanchelskis is fondly remembered by United fans as the flying right-winger in Sir Alex Ferguson’s fabled 1994 Double winners.

“It is easier than if you play through the middle because there are too many defenders there, it’s too crowded.
“They need width to stretch the defence. Ferguson always played 4-4-2 with two wingers and he won many titles.”
Kanchelskis is relishing Sunday’s Manchester derby at
Old Trafford and rates
Pep Guardiola higher than Mourinho because of the Catalan’s purist attacking football.
“At the moment, yes,” said Kanchelskis, who famously scored a derby hattrick in November 1994.
“Man City look at a higher level than United. United have big names, big players, but looking at the games, Man City are making a better
