A MAN who was involved in a horrific motorbike accident in Thailand has been moved to Bangkok to start his recovery.

Ross Davidson was so seriously injured in the crash last Friday that surgeons felt they had no option but to amputate his right leg above the knee.

The 23-year-old, from Carrickfergus, Co Antrim, was brought out of surgery within moments of his parents arriving at the hospital in Chiang Mai.

His father said: ”Desna and I would like to thank everyone for their continued support, kind words of love for Ross and the ongoing financial support .

“Ross is still in ICU and has a long recovery ahead of him.

“He still has infections and will need additional surgery. If he keeps improving over the next few days we will move him to another hospital to help with his recovery.

“We still need to get Ross home when he is fit to do so and it would be great to keep the fundraising going for this alone.

“Please keep sharing his story and keep him in your thoughts and prayers. You have all been amazing. Thank you from the three of us.”

Clodagh’s mum Mary and sister Jacqueline Connolly break their silence to reveal Clodagh and her children stood no chance as they were brutally slaughtered by the man they trusted most in the world.

Jacqueline said: “Now we know that in fact we’d never really known the real Alan Hawe, an evil, wicked man.”

Alan Hawe’s body is exhumed from the family plot. The remains are driven to Glasnevin Crematorium in Dublin. It is revealed he requested that his ashes be scattered at sea.

Relatives of Clodagh and her sons guard their grave as a priest prays for their killer inside the family’s old church. A total of 25 people attend the service to remember the killer, including his parents Olive and Stephen.

Friends of Liam immortalise his memory by recording a song in his name called Taken Away (A Song For Liam – Virginia College).
