Have ‘no way back’ from abuse claims

-

repeatedly accused Allen of molesting her when she was seven. In a clip ahead of her appearance on CBS This Morning, which airs today, Dylan says: “Why shouldn’t I feel some sort of outrage… after all these years of being ignored, disbelieved and tossed aside?”

Allen was investigated over claims that he molested Dylan in an attic in 1992 but not charged. He has always denied the allegation.

But Hollywood sources said the release of Allen’s new film, A Rainy Day In New York, is proving “problematic to say the least”.

One source said: “Nobody will stand for seeing a big red carpet premiere, huge billboards or wide releases of a Woody Allen movie any time soon.

“How can they send their cast to do interviews? Half of them have said they regret filming it and the other half will be torn apart by every interviewer for their decision. Allen’s career is teetering on the brink. There could be no way back.” Timothee Chalamet and Rebecca Hall will both donate their fees for A Rainy Day In New York to charity. And Selena Gomez, also in it, reportedly made a “significant donation” to charity.

Others to distance themselves from Allen in recent weeks include Mira Sorvino, who won an Oscar for her role in his 1995 film Mighty Aphrodite.

But Alec Baldwin, who has worked with Allen three times, said his treatment was “unfair and sad”.
