was around here she was ‘Dolores who was in for a coffee’ or ‘Dolores stopping to buy apples’ and the rest of it was just secondary.
“Peterborough as an area has a strong affinity for its Irish heritage and I think a lot of the small towns and businesses sort of took Dolores under their wing as part of that pride, in the same way we’re proud when the Irish football team make it to a big tournament for example.
“She was seen as an ‘Irish girl done good’ and I think that was an important part of our interactions with her.”
There were troubling times in Canada too though. In 2004 the singer and Burton won an action taken against them by their former nanny Joy Fahy at the High Court in Dublin.
Dolores branded the claims she made “completely untrue” after Ms Fahy’s unsuccessful bid to sue them for alleged false imprisonment and DOLORES O’riordan’s boyfriend told of his agony at her death yesterday and said: “My heart is broken.” Musician Ole Koretsky – her bandmate in D.A.R.K. – had been going out with The Cranberries star since 2015. Ole said: “My friend, partner, and the love of my life is gone. My heart is broken and it is beyond repair. I miss her so much.” Linger singer Dolores, 46, was found dead in her hotel room in London on Monday. A poignant final Instagram picture showed the star, from Ballybricken, Co Limerick, and Ole cuddling together on New Year’s Eve with the caption: “NYE: take away, TV, pajamas.”
Ole added: “Dolores is beautiful. Her art is beautiful. Her family is beautiful.
“The energy she continues to radiate is undeniable. I am lost.” Dolores had been in London for a few days for a recording of her iconic track Zombie with Los Angeles metal band Bad Wolves. The mum of three was previously married to Don Burton from 1994 to 2014 and they had three children together – Taylor, 20, Molly, 16 and 12-year-old Dakota. breach of contract. The frontwoman said she felt let down after the childminder quit suddenly during a family holiday in Ontario.
Dolores’ children, Taylor, 20, Molly, 16, and 12-year-old Dakota continue to live in Buckhorn with their father. A MEXICAN tabloid was slammed as “pathetic” yesterday over a headline about the tragedy that read: “Now She’s a Zombie.”
Social media users blasted Metro for its play-on-words reference to the Cranberries’ biggest hit.
Firefighter Javi Sevilla tweeted: “Sick and disgusting.”
Guillermo Santillan added: “What a lack of professionalism! How much do they pay them for their sick jokes? I hope more than what their credibility might be worth.”
Spanish language newspapers were united in condemnation of Metro, a morning daily published in Mexico City.
Spanish daily Publico branded the headline – “Ya Es Zombie” in Spanish – as the “most offensive of the year.” DOLORES’ postmortem is to take place today, a British coroner’s office confirmed yesterday.
It is understood preliminary results into the cause of the Cranberries singer’s tragic death are expected later today or by tomorrow.
Meanwhile, the tragic rocker’s body is to be brought home to her native Limerick for her funeral.
It’s likely she will be laid to rest early next week.
Westminster coroner’s office in London told The Daily Mirror: “The postmortem, at the moment, is scheduled for Thursday.” SINGER Dolores’ D.A.R.K. bandmate Andy Rourke said he was “heartbroken” by his friend’s death.
Former Smiths bassist Rourke posted a photo of them together and told Instagram and Twitter followers: “I am heartbroken by the unexpected passing of Dolores.
“I’ve enjoyed the years spent together and [am] privileged to call her a close friend.”
The pair started collaborating on D.A.R.K. along with Dolores’ boyfriend Ole Koretsky in 2016.
