Attack after school fees snub

NICK Knowles has been accused of “physical abuse” and “intimidation” in an extraordinary attack by his estranged wife.

Jessica Rose Moor, who has son Eddie, three, with the DIY SOS presenter, also claimed he subjected her to years of “emotional cruelty”.

Tweeting under the heading “Nick Knowles Divorce – An Open Letter”, she claimed Nick’s solicitor told her he had withdrawn a vow to pay to send Eddie to private school.

She goes on: “After years of intimidation, emotional cruelty, physical abuse and eventually isolation, this is the straw that broke the camel’s back.

“To add insult to injury – like many men in his position of wealth and power he... will not pay any legal fees meaning I cannot afford to fight for our son’s education.

“My husband has also said he will not purchase a house or give a settlement of any kind for us, this is disappointing but not unexpected – some people’s generosity is only present in front of TV cameras.”

Jessica, 30, and Nick, 55, married in 2012 after meeting through her parents. They split in 2015 – the year she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Nick supported her through treatment.

They stayed friends and even went on holiday in Barbados together last month.

But in her post, Jessica made it clear their friendship has shattered after a falling-out over their Eddie’s schooling.

A pal of Nick said last night: “He hasn’t got a violent bone in his body. I don’t think anyone who knows him would believe these allegations.

“It’s a shame because they had a great relationship. They remained friends for the sake of Eddie, who is the most important person here.

“I don’t think Nick will hold a grudge against Jess because he is a lovely, warm and forgiving man.”

Nick’s representative said he had no comment.
