Toff job for Stanley
Boris’s dad joins his jungle pal on Made in Chelsea
BORIS Johnson’s dad Stanley is joining Made in Chelsea, where he will be reunited with I’m a Celebrity friend Georgia Toffolo.
And despite the age gap, insiders insist the 77-year-old will be a hit on the E4 show about young posh folk.
A source said: “Stanley might be five decades older than the rest of the cast but he is a great addition to the show. Toff and the others love him.”
Toff met Stanley on ITV’S jungle show. Speaking at a Warner Music party in London about his new role, the 23-year-old said: “He’s filmed his scenes.”
And she revealed the former MEP has been trying to set her up with one of the younger Johnson men. Toff added: “We went through them all and he said, ‘Which one can you have?’ We didn’t quite settle on a Johnson, though.”
The reality star and TV presenter – who will be in LA to cover the Oscars for This Morning next week – ruled out running as an MP, despite Boris offering to direct her campaign.
She said: “No, he hasn’t managed to persuade me. I like my job doing TV.
“I’m not sure I’d be well suited to be a member of parliament. I don’t know who I would represent, it’s a big responsibility. It’s just a flat no.”
But if Toff did fancy the job, she would tackle gender inequality in parliament. She added: “I think we should have a 50/50 split of women to men. I think it’s quite archaic that we don’t.”
