Ron: An y team in world would welcome Kane

- BY DAVID ANDERSON BY ADRIAN KAJUMBA

RONALDINHO has become the latest legend to heap praise on Harry Kane and claimed he could waltz into any team in Europe.

The Brazilian icon believes Spurs star Kane, on the 35-goal mark already, has taken his game to new heights this season.

His winner at Crystal Palace on Sunday was the 150th goal of his club career and Ronaldinho (right) said: “Harry Kane has been a great player for a while now but there is no doubt this season he has hit a new level. He is now at the level where any team in the world would want him – he could walk into any team in Europe.

“Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, it doesn’t matter how strong the team, he is now one of those few players in the world that any team would make room for given the chance to sign him.”

Former Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon reckons Kane is now the Bernabeu giants’ No.1 summer target ahead of Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski.

And Real legend Raul also hailed Kane, admitting he would like to see his former club make a move for the striker.

Spurs maintain that not even a world-record bid of over £200million would tempt them to sell Kane (above). But Ronaldinho warned: “Over the last windows we have seen that the biggest clubs in Europe have paid whatever fees needed to sign the best players in the world. Four or five clubs are now at a stage where the fee is not important – if they want the player they pay what they have to.” Ronaldinho reckons Kane could even inspire Spurs to a Champions League triumph this season. “Why not?” he said. “They have the players to do it and they have no pressure on them.”
