DID you know that every time you play a game from The National Lottery, you are helping to contribute to around £30m of funding given to good causes every week, enabling communities across the UK to achieve extraordinary things?

Now it’s your chance to decide where some of that funding should go and help projects near you get up to £50,000 of cash through an initiative called The People’s Projects.

The People’s Projects is a partnership between the Big Lottery Fund (who distribute money raised by National Lottery players), ITV, STV and The National Lottery, which gives the public a say in awarding funding to local projects across the UK.

And you’ve only got a few more days left to vote and help decide who this year’s lucky winners will be.

A shortlist of 95 projects across 19 ITV regions are competing for your vote – so why not make sure you have your say on this year’s winners.

In each region, the three projects with the most public votes will receive grants of up to £50,000 to help them continue their work to bring people closer together, build stronger communities and improve the lives of thousands of people across the country.

There is up to £3m up for grabs, so you can really make an impact on a deserving cause.

To show just how much you are helping incredible community groups make a difference with National Lottery funding, here’s a look back to some of last year’s The People’s Projects winners...
