Ribena error led to death

A HOTELIER died after drinking purple pipecleaning liquid he mistook for the soft drink Ribena.

Langdon Doidge, 59, of Cardiff Bay, kept the fluid in his fridge and drank it after a night out in August, an inquest in Pontypridd heard. Verdict: Death by misadventure.
