ITOJE’S A DOUBT FOR ROSE VISIT TO DUBLIN

MARO ITOJE faces a race against time to be fit for England’s Six Nations showdown with Ireland after chipping his kneecap.

The Saracens lock (left) suffered the injury against Australia but only learned of the damage after his knee swelled up following last week’s win over Wasps. Nick Isiekwe takes his place at home to Pool 3 rivals Cardiff tomorrow where Sarries look to extend their unbeaten start to the season. Mako Vunipola makes his first start since straining his calf in the opening round of Champions Cup matches but George Kruis must wait for next week’s return in Wales.
