Cliftonville v Glenavon

CLIFTONVILLE will bid to make it eight home league wins on the bounce when they welcome secondplaced Glenavon to North Belfast this afternoon.

Barry Gray’s Reds have taken 25 points from a possible 27 in their last nine home fixtures, with their last league loss at Solitude against Coleraine on August 11.

“We must look for another win,” said Gray, who watched his players hit Dungannon Swifts for five in a 5-1 win there last weekend.

“That was one of our best performances of the season so far and it’s important we build on that. We have to show the same focus and desire against Glenavon.”
