WE LOVE ALF & WILL TAME HIS RED RAGES
Dundee v Rangers
RANGERS have vowed to help rather than hammer Alfredo Morelos in the wake of his red card madness.
The South American livewire was sent off for the third time this season after lashing out at Graeme Shinnie in Wednesday’s defeat to Aberdeen at Ibrox.
Morelos misses tomorrow’s trip to basement boys Dundee and next week’s visit of Hamilton Accies.
The 17-goal Colombian’s sending off was the eighth of the season for Rangers and came just 24 hours after Steven Gerrard warned his players in a squad meeting to sort out their discipline. But Light Blues assistant boss Gary Mcallister (inset) said: “Alfredo is a young player who we value and we want to try and help him through the other side of this.
“It is a little issue. He is a goal scorer and they are hard to find. We have got a young player that is very competitive, he is a goal threat, our main goal threat.
“It is that acceptance that when he does get a yellow card that he has got to change, his whole dynamic has got to change, because he runs the risk of a second yellow.”
