JESSICA HARRINGTON’S Envious Editor, pipped by the classy Rhinestone on his hurdling debut at Naas, when clear of the third, might improve sufficiently to account for Noel Meade’s Young Ted, sixth in the Grade 1 bumper at the Punchestown Festival, in today’s opening Navan Kells Maiden Hurdle. In the beginners chase, preference is for Joseph O’brien’s Shady Operator, second to Sharjah in the Red Mills Trial Hurdle and last seen when narrowly beaten by Antey at the Punchestown Festival.
