Rigby crook to pay back just £3,200
A JAILED fraudster who pocketed £20,000 meant for the son of murdered soldier Lee Rigby has to pay back just £3,247.
Gary Gardner told Fusilier Rigby’s widow Rebecca that son Jack would be set “up for life” from four truck-pull events.
But he spent some of the cash on a flop single in a bid to be a record producer.
The HGV driver, 56, of Medbourne, Leics, was jailed for two-and-half years at Leicester crown court in September.
A Proceeds of Crime Act hearing at the same court yesterday was told only £1,800 had been paid back.

Alex, 54, said she needed time to get her “head round” the split.
She told Prima magazine: “No one should underestimate how separation and divorce can hit you. I compare it to a moment where you’re driving along the motorway and then the next moment, something beyond your control happens and you’re driving in a completely different direction.
“You have to give yourself time to get your head round it.”
