Arson attack on kids’ park

A CHILDREN’S park has been destroyed in a suspected arson attack.

The incident happened at around midnight on Saturday in Eglinton, Co Derry.

A climbing frame, walkway and set of swings were all burnt.

SDLP councillor Jim Mckeever said: It is really disappointing. The park is really well used which makes it even more frustrating and there is not much left for the kids.”
