Rashford & Alexander-arnold family robbed
THE brothers of two England stars have been attacked and robbed at gunpoint while having breakfast in a cafe.
Tyler Alexander-arnold and Dane Rashford, 26, were reportedly set upon after stopping off to eat before driving on to a match.
The football agents and a pal were taken to hospital for minor injuries after being beaten up by a gang with a suspected shotgun, machete and baseball bat.
Two guns have been seized. Det Insp Andy Buckthorpe, of Greater Manchester Police, said: “Thankfully no one was seriously injured. The situation could’ve been a lot worse.”
Dane, brother and man- ager of Man Utd’s Marcus, and Tyler were at Little Rock cafe in Moss Side when the raiders stormed in at 10.30am on Saturday.
Officers said they threatened diners, demanding car keys and other items. They are believed to be probing the theory the friends were followed in their luxury cars.
They were robbed of items including a watch, wallet and a white Range Rover.
Police found the car in nearby Fallowfield. Mr Buckthorpe added: “We have recovered two guns from a scene close by.”
The pals had been due to watch Brighton play Liverpool, where Tyler’s brother and client Trent plays.
