MODEL Vogue Williams holds on to her hat after high winds threatened to cancel racing at Cheltenham yesterday.

But Day Two went ahead as planned despite Storm Gareth’s best attempts and the Irish star, 33 – married to Made in Chelsea’s Spencer Matthews, 30 – managed to keep hold of her headgear.

Vogue was not the only one clinging on to her accessories, as the Duchess of Cornwall, 71, and TV star Mary Berry, 83, also struggled in the wind.

Tennis ace Sir Andy Murray, 31, and wife Kim, also 31, seem to have backed a winner and were spotted shouting with delight in the stands.

Royal Zara Tindall, 37, chatted to Chanelle Mccoy, wife of former champion jockey AP Mccoy, 44.

A record 68,000 punters packed the Gloucestershire course for the second day of the festival. The feature race, the £400,000 Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase, was won by Altior.

A man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife at the event. Police said: “Officers swiftly responded.”
