Mum is guilty of partner’s bonnet killing
A WOMAN killed her partner by braking sharply after he climbed on to her car bonnet during a row.
Mum Alison Skingsly, 43, drove 200m with Kevin Nix clinging on after he tried to prevent her drink-driving.
She claimed she braked suddenly to avoid a pigeon, and Mr Nix, 46, fell off.
Skingsly, who was nearly twice the limit, had stormed out of a pub in Crowland, Lincs, last June in a row about Nix flirting.
She was convicted of manslaughter at Lincoln crown court and sentencing was adjourned.
