Football wife nets gong as top diet guru
A FOOTBALLER’S wife who lost 3st 3lb and kept the weight off for 36 years has been named a top slimming consultant.
Kathryn Cooke, 63, wanted to get fit alongside her sporty husband Joe, an ex-bradford City player.
So she joined Slimming World to lose weigh for her wedding in 1977.
Mrs Cooke regained weight after the birth of daughters Geraldine, now 40, and Yvette, 37, so she rejoined Slimming World and became a consultant and a fitness instructor.
Now she’s been named its Top Target Consultant 2019 for her achievement.
Kathryn, of Mirfield, West Yorks, said: “I’ve now been a consultant for eight years and it fills me with pride to know I’ve helped so many people.”
