LIONEL MESSI swept Barcelona into the Champions League quarter-finals with another scintillating display.
Having held the Catalans to a goalless draw in France, Lyon were beaten after 18 minutes in the Nou Camp.
Messi played in Luis Suarez, who was brought down by Jason Denayer to hand the hosts a penalty.
And Messi clipped his spot-kick down the middle, Panenka-style, to score.
Philippe Coutinho increased the lead on 31 minutes, but Lucas Tousart pulled a goal back for Lyon 13 minutes after the break.
Messi, though, struck again 12 minutes from time, before Gerard Pique and Ousmane Dembele put the icing on the Barca cake.
