Cops plea on armed raid

POLICE are hunting for two masked men who subjected a female shop worker to a “terrifying ordeal”.

They made off with money and cigarettes after threatening the woman with a knife at the premises in Drumleck Gardens Derry, on Wednesday night.

A PSNI’S spokesman said: “Thankfully she wasn’t injured, however, this must have been a terrifying ordeal for the staff member.”
